if your going to make fun of someone why do it in such an old post on a journal that isn't even updated? You realize that just proves how lame and lazy you are to have all that time to go through some strangers journal just to find something to make fun of in order to make yourself feel better. Its not my fault your medical transcriptionist education didn't pan out. Which it obviously didn't because you are sitting here trying to poke fun at a subject that is obviously years old. When you are with someone you want to be single, and when you are single you want to be with someone. I guess it's human nature. Then again a good number of us aren't  Human. Most of us know what we are, where we belong. Then there's me.  For the longest time I was one of a kind.  The Slayer. The Chosen One. Now that doesn't mean that I was alone. I wasn't I always had friends and family to support me. In fact They are who I attribute my longevity to. They are, after all, the ones who knew to come find me when I didn't come home. Twice now they have pulled me away from death. I'd explain but it's really more trouble than it's worth right now. Maybe someday when I have the energy to expend on something so traumatizing. I guess I should at least write some about it. To heal or something like that. Yeah that was Jean nagging at me. Gods shes annoying sometimes.

The car we have is almost more trouble than its worth. But I do want to keep it for the time being. Its caused a migraine headache. It of course coupled with some work stuff. The girl who dared to threaten us on the floor at work a few months ago will be returning after all. So I told HR that I need to know when shes coming back so I can be ready to leave. At first Gina (our HR head) looked at me funny before she remembered exactly what had happened. She told me she wished she had been told before the girl had left, (she had been the girl was shopping in the store when I told her). Apparently she seems to have forgotten her excuse to me. "Since she was off work and therefore on maternity leave there was nothing that could be done" she couldn't be written up or anything. It sounds like they didn't bother to even investigate. Or when they did investigate they must've not found anything worth following up on. The girl has since been in the store shopping once or twice. And It bothers us that she has the freedom to walk around when shes lying about being sexually harrassed and getting people fired for no reason other than she is being spoilt and difficult then threatened peoples jobs and lives. That filthy little twat should be locked up and her kids put up for adoption. 

I guess the migraine is more caused by this news and the emotions it stirs up. I guess the writing is good in that it brings all this to light.

Other than all that work is good I guess. Most of the people are great, its just the spoilt selfish few that think they can get exactly what they want when they want it. And now we know for a fact that everyone knows about them and everyone knows just about everything thats going on. But they dont seem to care. We were told once that we were the only ones complaining about these people. Which are out and out lies. Because we have recently started talking to other sales floor people at work. And they all know and seem to have the same complaints. So I think the best thing for us to do is just leave the store or maybe even the whole company all together. (I need to get away from red logos)

Maybe if we went to see HR in force. It would have more of an effect.

In two weeks we leave for Anaheim. Vacation. Mother (Beths mother therefore my surrogate grandmother?) is paying the whole way. This is something she does just to keep the family together. And I think after a few shakey years its worked. Beht is talking to her mother more as well as her sisters.

For a while there most of us were kind of distant. Diana and I were the only ones really who kept close.  But slowly we're all coming back. I mean after all I'm posting here Aren't I :P.

1) Does anyone like cold weather?

Ororo and Kitty both love cold weather. Storm because she can create snow and Kitty cause she can play in it. The Phoenix girls and I all prefer warmer weather. I grew up in Paradise after all and the Phoenix girls are birds of fire.

2) Are there any front runners who refuse to dress for cold weather? Any who love to layer?

Anna. Goddess only knows why. I Always layer. Who knows where my work will take me... from Africa to Antartica... I can visit every continent in one day. Frequently do. Jean insists on it... Dr Grey.... she can get a tad annoying sometimes. I find myself reminding her often that I am trained in medicine and science myself. Ororo has always loved layers. I guess she just likes the look of it as well as the convienence. Also that flying with the wind... tends to make things chilly.

3) Does anyone like to play winter sports?

Kitty loves Ice Skating as Does Buffy. Jean likes to Watch Hockey but only when Logans playing and leveling everyone on the field/rink

4) Are people more (or less) likely to front in the winter?

Buffy is certainly less likely to front in the winter.  She really doesnt like being cold.   The rest of us it doesn't matter either way. 

5) Are there any foods that people especially crave when it's cold outside?

Well family tradition among the Xavier clan dictates that along with cold weather comes hot chocolate eggnog... warm milk... hot toddys.... and hot cereal. Scott always tries to make hot cider.. and fails... Allowing that man near a kitchen is a recipe for disaster.  Ororo is the best at the hot cider... and Anna is the hot toddy expert. Jean has this amazing recipe for hot chocolate that would give Phillipus a good run for her money. Also of course the various pies.. turkey... ham... peppermint... Though mostly warm drinks and oddly hot breakfast foods.

One of these articles suggests that I am no as interesting as DC would like to make me seem. Yet the simple fact that hes discussing me and all my.... flaws disproves his own theory. If I am so uninteresting... why pray tell... are you even bothering to discuss my life and history.

1) Do you have any pets out front?

Yes Wonder Kitty

2) Why or why not?

We needed a comforting companion and familiar. Clark and Bruce both have dogs. I should have a cat.

3) If you do have pets, what are they?

Wonder Kitty AKA Isabella is a Blue Russian... quite possibly a pure breed though we can't be sure. She also looks exactly like a friends Kitten.

4) Do they belong to everyone, the front runners, or a specific person?

For the most part she belongs to everyone... all of my sisters adore her. Ororo says she reminds her of Storm (her male cat back home) Jean Anna and Rachel all like her and help care for her... but I suppose she is mostly my cat. We didnt intend for this to happen it just happened that way. My Beth wanted a cat for company and so we shared.

True to her mothers talents she manages to some how squeeze out of the her collar (blue with silver stars and a red heart with her name and Beth's number on it) every time no matter how tight we put it on her.

5) Do your pets seem to know when different people are out front?

I would like to think so. She seems to respond to me better than most. Beth just gets frustrated. If I tell her no she will stop nagging for a few moments before going back to it. Where as with Beth she just continues as thought she doesn't understand. I suppose my gift to communicate with animals translates a bit. However she doesn't seem to respond to differently from Beth to anyone else out here.

ATHENS (Reuters) - Greek anarchists stormed a supermarket on Thursday and handed out food for free in the latest of a wave of raids provoked by soaring consumer prices.

About 20 unarmed people, mostly wearing black hoods, carried out the midday robbery in the northern city of Thesaaloniki, police said.

Local media have labeled the raiders "Robin Hoods" following previous raids.

They take only packets of pasta, rice and cartons of milk which they drop in the middle of the street for people to collect, a police official said.

"They have never stolen money or hurt anyone. They ask people to remain calm but use ambush tactics, jumping over cash desks," he said.

"When they attack without hoods, people are surprised to see that they are mostly women."

The rising cost of living has replaced unemployment as Greeks' main concern. Inflation is officially running at a 10-year high of 4.9 percent although many items have risen in price more sharply.

Im talking to Rhay, he's one of moms friends. Or Anna's or something. I think a few people here are friends with a few of his. Anyway not really much to do right now. Mom and Diana are back from whatever they went out to do. And Donnas sitting here watching my movie with me. Not like the movie I watch every day like Mina does Bram Stokers Dracula.... no the movie actually about me. Rhay chose it over Scooby Doo... and I figure it would give Donna and Diana the basis of what my girls and I do.

Donnas not too impressed by the movie... though I have to say this movie does me not justice whatsoever. I guess I'll have to sit Madame Amazon down sometime show her my show. Right now a conversation Mom had with one of Logans friends ticked Mom Diana and Donna off.... well Donna doesnt know anything about it. But Diana was reading over Moms shoulder and she got very frustrated by the entire thing. She doesnt get frustrated easily. Now me... Me I got frustrated trying to plug this damned thing in. After I got irritated trying to pull it out of the damned backpack.

So im not really working. Im watching a movie... writing... talking... and trying to figure out how Im related to Donna now. .....

Duchess was raised Catholic. And while her grandparents raised her to be open to all kinds of religions... most Catholics and Christians she found were arrogant selfish and discriminant.

Kurt does but he is not bonded to us... Only a visitor.  Buffy has some believe in the christian and catholic systems... but only enough to put power behind her crucifix... which she hardly uses... Most of her faith goes to her Mr Pointy.

We are Pagan. In general. I have my beliefs in the god/desses of the earth sea and sky. Diana, our Greek Goddess obviously pays homage to the god/desses of Olympus. Duchess has a close connection with her Sire... the Archangel Michael. And of course Phoenix (both Greys) Believes she is the Goddess of all things.

4) Do you have religion(s) inside?

We each practice independently whether inside or out. Duchess is very open to our beliefs and allows us to express them through her. She i s of the belief that each faith has value.

Alright this needs a LITTLE bit of explaining. In X-Men Evolution the early 2000 Cartoon TV series I was painted as a popular happy go lucky miss I can't do a single thing wrong. (Except lose control to an omnipotent bird of fire.) Which I Can certainly Assure you is very very wrong. It is not me in any way shape or form. If you ever read the early comics. I enter  a private school with only four other students. Those students... are four drooling hormonal boys. How do I handle them? I am a complete and utter over confident snot. Thats right folks this is where my darling brat gets her brattyness. From Mommy. Kind of Figures doesn't it.

So Evolution tells the world I am perfect... Like Sugar. NO. Anna... with her raging temper... is sweeter than I am. She only really throws tantrums at Gambit these days anyway. These days.

Anyway I grow up and mature. And yes I try to love everyone equally but I have always had my moments and no they did not always happen because of Phoenix. People blame her too much for my human flaws. This is one of my greatest pet peeves. Phoenix is more of a positive influence on my life than anything. She taught me that i dont always have to keep everything under control. Losing (some) control is necessary every once in a while. Its a much needed pressure valve that i was keeping tightly locked. (Or maybe Xavier was)

So anyone who was seriously misinformed by X-Men Evolution please come chat with me for the revised updated More REALISTIC   version of Jean Grey. XD.  Though people do kind of flock to me at parties... I would rather be off with my family from Xaviers pulling pranks cracking jokes and being childish. I hate being a prude. I wanna have fun with my Babies. Love you Anna and Logan.

I couldn't help but smirk at this.

No its not realistic its just funny. Logan couldn't help but make several crude comments about me being an impossibly busty and leggy asian superheroine.

Theres really only one part of that reference that doesnt actually apply to me... though Im sure he wishes it did.

My icon makes me think of the relationship between Rachel and myself. Duchess has been reading some of Diana's canon though Diana has chosen to distance her self from it (which seems a bit odd to me... so this should result in me giving her a therapy session whether she watns it or not.) Anyway in the canon Duchess is reading she and her resurrected Mother are suddenly at odds with each other.  Diana's mother has attacked the United States under the impression that the US is holding Diana hostage. Diana and the rest of the justice league fly in to fight off the Amazon threat. Not that they would have much of a chance. But thats not the point.

What all my rambling is leading up to is the connection between mother and daughter that I Share with my bratty sixteen year old and Hippolyta shares with Diana. The defiant daughter always looking for her mothers comfort. And even a bit of guidance. This was spurned by a visit we had last night from Diana's mother. She and i shared Mothering stories while we all relaxed and talked about how our lives are changing. Rachel and I really didnt get to know Hippolyta very well... but she seems an amazing woman. Proud.. powerful... intelligent... kind... graceful... everything her daughter is.

Again Diana is as much like her mother as Rachel is like me... almost identical... practically clones....

Not much more i can say really.

Is this what Rachel and Baby Diana looked like before they were born? *grin* I saw this shot and couldnt help but ask.

Jean and I have been doing a lot of thinking about relationships. Mostly internal.

Like for example how close she and I are. I am her ex-husbands baby cousin. Yet I still look up to her like a big sister. She reminds me a lot of Willow. The whole superpowered witchy type going all psycho and trying to destroy the world. And coming damn near close too. She is also sweet and considerate like Wil and friendly to everyone... just like Wil. Smart too... Both Willow and Jean are uber smart, way smarter than me.

Anyway this thought process which we had oddly all done simultaneously, was started by our concern for Diana. Almost immediately Diana and Jean became best friends.  Which is odd because her more other colourful best friends are also here.  The other two Storm and Betsy arent as close to the front but they are still very close to Jean. Anyway.. its odd because they haven't really come forward to get to know Diana yet and they aren't really too concerned with the friendship. I mean they care and all they just don't interfere. Normally they kind of would cause everyone at the mansion and at the hotel are very close and tight knit. Saving the world together and saving each others butts from the untold insanity does that to a group of people. Besides... Jean and Betsy are both powerful telepaths.

Well back to my original discussion. We were thinking about how... unique it is that we all came together like we did and have all become such a tight knit family. It's very... strange to me... that the all of us from such differing backgrounds are so close. My parents are divorced middle class. Jean went to a boarding school in NY. Betsy went to all the  best schools in England because shes a spoilt rich English brat. Ororo is an orphan from Africa growing up on the streets of Egypt as an expert thief. Anna spent most of her childhood in and out of the public foster care system while being raised and fostered by Americas most notorious terrorists. And Diana a Princess of an Island called Paradise... inhabited only by women. Intelligent Warrior Women well versed in all forms of art athletics and workmanship... you know The Amazons.  ( I think Warrens a bit intimidated by us)

I don't know why it all seems so weird to me. It just makes me wonder is all. No I am in no way complaining... it just seems unique. Yes Jean I know used the word in this entry already shut it.

Yes I love her. I love them all. They have become my new family. Well part of my entire family. Theres still my step dad.... and Xander and Wil and the girls.

I could go on. But its late and Duchess says we should get some sleep.
